Chairman

Dr. Tom Obaseki, was the Pioneer Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Edo State Flood, Erosion and Watershed Management Agency (EDOFEWMA). Before then, he was the Project Coordinator, Edo State Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project, (NEWMAP), a World Bank assisted project responsible for flood and gully erosion remediation domiciled in the Ministry of Environment of the Edo State Government.


As lead of NEWMAP, Tom expertly steered the affairs of the Project, which culminated in Edo State placing as the top performing State of the 23 States participating in NEWMAP.


Earlier, between 2009 and 2016, Dr. Tom Obaseki served as the Technical and Special Assistant to the Commissioner for Environment and Public Utilities, in Edo State Government. His experience in environmental management in Edo State Government spans over 14 years. Tom, also possesses expertise in infrastructural and environmental development anchored on socio-economic, cultural and gender inclusiveness, and, procurement and supply chain management.


Dr. Tom Obaseki who was, in 2018, on Residency to the Environment Centre, Lancaster University in the United Kingdom, is also a Recirculate “Ambassador”, a Global Challenge Research Fund (GCRF) supported project through Lancaster University, which was geared towards a circular water economy for Africa. Since 2020, he has been involved in the UK Innovate® funded project, ECOSMART, an innovative Project anchored on a circular economy model that integrates optimized anaerobic digestion (AD) with solar technology to provide renewable electricity, gas, soil amenders and liquid fertilizer.


Tom is a Certified Executive Public Leader from Harvard Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, Boston Massachusetts and a Fellow of the Nigeria Environmental Society.

Dr. Wellington Osadolor DAC OD MNOA is a dynamic individual with a rich tapestry of experiences spanning healthcare, politics, and community service. With a background in optometry, earning his Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree, Dr. Osadolor has been a stalwart in both private and public health sectors, tirelessly providing vision care to his community.


His commitment to public service led him to serve as a two-time Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Governor Godwin Obaseki, where he played a pivotal role in governance and policy implementation. Dr. Osadolor's dedication to grassroots politics is evident through his various roles, including serving as the former Edo State Coordinator of the Niger Delta Students Union Government and as the former Edo South Coordinator for PDP e-registration.


Beyond his political engagements, Dr. Osadolor has been deeply involved in community development initiatives. He has championed medical outreaches, bringing essential healthcare services directly to underserved communities. This commitment to community welfare spans from his days when he was a student union leader where he was advocating for the rights and needs of students.


In addition to his healthcare and political endeavors, Dr. Osadolor is also recognized as a new media specialist, providing his expertise to both private individuals and political figures since 2015. His adeptness in utilizing digital platforms for communication and outreach has been instrumental in advancing various causes and campaigns.


Currently, Dr. Osadolor serves as the Secretary to the Oredo Government Council, where he continues to make significant contributions to governance and community development. His multifaceted career reflects a deep-seated commitment to service, advocacy, and the betterment of society.
